FACT:

Dade Phelan believes we need to crack down on the bad behavior of countries seeking to compromise our freedoms. In his first term as Speaker, he passed the Lone Star Infrastructure Protection Act, which barred China and other hostile foreign nations like Russia, North Korea and Iran from buying Texas’ critical infrastructure such as our electric grid, water treatment facilities and cyber security operations. Now, China is trying to buy Texas farmland, agriculture processing plants and land near our military bases. Dade Phelan stopped China before, and next session, will do it again.
