AUSTIN – The Texas Association of Dairymen PAC (TAD PAC) teamed up with Speaker Dade Phelan to support State Rep. Ernest Bailes (R-Shepherd) in his race for House District 18.
TAD PAC is contributing $15,000 to Rep. Bailes’ campaign, and Speaker Phelan is matching TAD PAC’s contribution for a total of $30,000.
“Ernest Bailes is exactly the kind of strong conservative leader we need in the Texas House,” said Speaker Dade Phelan. "Ernest has played a significant role in the Agriculture and Livestock Committee in the Texas House. He has worked to represent the needs of ranchers, agriculturalists, and the dairy and beef industry, and to promote the rural values of East Texas. I am proud to join TAD PAC to support Ernest for re-election to HD 18.”
“The Texas Association of Dairymen PAC strongly endorses Ernest Bailes, who was raised on his family’s dairy and beef operation, for re-election to the Texas House of Representatives,” said TAD Executive Director Darren Turley. “He not only is a friend to the Texas dairy industry, he also supports our state’s vital agriculture industry and stands up for conservative rural values. All Texans benefit from his leadership at the Texas Capitol.”
