AUSTIN – Today, the Texas Nurse Practitioners Political Action Committee (TNP PAC) partnered with Speaker Dade Phelan to support Rep. Stephanie Klick (R-Fort Worth) in her race for House District 91.
TNP PAC is contributing $25,000 to Rep. Klick’s campaign, and Speaker Phelan is matching TNP PAC’s contribution for a combined total of $50,000.
“Stephanie Klick has devoted her life to nursing and caring for patients, and she’s carried that same devotion to the Texas House, representing Tarrant County,” said Speaker Dade Phelan. “Her experience has helped Stephanie lead the Public Health Committee as Chair, safeguarding the public health of Texans. I am proud to partner with TNP PAC to support Stephanie for
re-election to HD 91.”
“A champion for nurses and patients, Rep. Stephanie Klick is a trusted leader under Speaker Dade Phelan, improving public health by increasing access to and options for care,” said Rick Roberts, Chair of the Texas Nurse Practitioners PAC. “Nursing is consistently rated the most trusted profession, and, as a fellow nurse, we know we can all trust Rep. Klick to fight government mandates and red tape that get in the way of the patient-provider relationship. It’s critical that we do everything we can to support one of the most important voices for both nurses and patients in the Texas Legislature.”
