TREPAC and Speaker Phelan announce joint support for Justin Holland for HD 33

AUSTIN – The Texas Realtors Political Action Committee (TREPAC), the political arm of Texas Realtors, teamed up with Speaker Dade Phelan to support State Rep. Justin Holland (R-Rockwall) in his race for House District 33.

TREPAC is contributing $25,000 to Rep. Holland’s campaign, and Speaker Phelan is matching TREPAC’s contribution for a total of $50,000.

“I am proud to stand with TREPAC in their effort to help re-elect Justin Holland as State Representative,” said Speaker Phelan. “His work ethic and dedication to conservative principles have benefited the Texas House and the people of Texas. No one works harder for the people of HD 33 than Justin Holland. Justin will serve as Vice-Chair of the Texas Sunset Advisory Committee next session, and it is critical that he returns to lead the Texas House in that process.”

TREPAC Chair Nancy Garcia said, “We strongly and proudly support Justin Holland for Texas House District 33. His long history of dedicated community involvement, commitment to serving Texas, and effectiveness as a lawmaker make him the clear choice in this race.”

“The Texas Legislature always considers issues relevant to real estate consumers and property owners, and we look forward to continuing our work with Representative Holland, along with Speaker Dade Phelan, on behalf of property owners in our state,” Garcia said.

Texas Realtors advocate for homeowners and private property rights by supporting efforts including HOA reform in 2021, property tax reform in 2019, prohibiting sales taxes on real estate in 2015, passing consumer protections against unscrupulous property-tax lenders in 2013, and eliminating most private transfer fees on real estate transactions in 2011.
